What if the 100 Deadliest Days became the 100 safest? It starts with the choices you make before you ever put the car in drive.

From Memorial Day to Labor Day, crashes spike, teen driver fatalities surge, and the consequences of a single distracted moment can last a lifetime. But every one of these crashes is preventable. It comes down to the choices we make behind the wheel.

This summer, commit to the five that save lives:
🚗 Stay alert. Drowsy driving is deadly driving.
📵 Don`t drive distracted. The text, the post, the playlist can wait.
🐢 Slow down. Speed reduces your reaction time and increases crash severity.
🍺 Drive sober. Never get behind the wheel impaired, and never ride with someone who is.
🔒 Buckle up. Every seat. Every trip. Every time.

Parents and caregivers, your example sets the standard. Teens, your decisions protect everyone in the car and everyone you share the road with. Let`s reframe what these next three months can be. The 100 Deadliest Days don`t have to be deadly. Together, we can make them the #100SafestDaysOfSummer.

🚴 May is National Bike Safety Month — and with warmer weather bringing more cyclists onto the roads, the stakes are higher than ever.

Behind every cyclist is a cherished life. A child riding to school. A parent commuting home. A friend out for a weekend ride. In a single moment, distraction or misjudgment can change everything. For drivers, that may be one glance at a phone or failure to yield. For cyclists, it may be trusting that a driver sees you when they do not.

Drivers: put the phone down. Look twice. Give space.
Cyclists: stay visible. Stay alert. Ride defensively and assume you haven’t been seen.

Today marks the beginning of the “100 Deadliest Days” for teen drivers, the period between Memorial Day and Labor Day when teen crash risks dramatically increase. But these crashes are preventable. 💛☀️

This summer, we’re joining prevention specialists across the country in reframing the conversation.

The 100 Deadliest Days don’t have to be deadly.
Let’s make them the #100SafestDaysOfSummer. 🚗🛣️

Parents, caregivers, educators, and communities all play a role in helping teens stay safe behind the wheel. Here are a few simple ways you can help reduce risk this summer:

✅ Buckle up every trip, every time
📵 Put the phone away and model distraction-free driving
👥 Enforce passenger restrictions for teen drivers
🕙 Follow graduated driver licensing rules and curfews
🗣️ Lead, coach, and set clear expectations
📝 Create a teen driver contract together
🚫 Encourage teens to never text, film videos, or use apps while driving

Small choices save lives. Every trip. Every time.

It`s National Youth Traffic Safety Month — and for good reason. May leads directly into the "100 Deadliest Days" of summer driving, when teen crash fatalities spike on U.S. roads. A license isn`t a finish line. It`s the start of the learning curve, and the habits built in those early months last a lifetime. Keep the conversations going. Keep showing up. The road ahead is safer when we travel it together.

Let’s flip the script and make this the 100 Safest Days of Summer. For tips, tools, and prevention resources, visit: https://www.100safestdaysofsummer.org/

Thank you to everyone who joined us for the 9th Annual Swing for Safe Driving “Ball Golf” Outing, presented by @cmt.ai 💙

This event is so much more than a fundraiser. It’s an opportunity to honor Mitchel’s life, share his story, and continue working toward a future where no family has to experience the pain of losing a loved one to distracted driving.

In this video, Mitchel’s dad, Steve, shares a few special stories behind this year’s outing, including the meaning behind our Greyson shirts, which feature Mitchel’s own handwriting and his “10 Things That Take Zero Talent.” These small personal details help keep Mitchel’s spirit present in everything we do.

Steve also shares the story behind why we call it our “Ball Golf Outing.” Mitchel loved disc golf and always referred to traditional golf as “ball golf,” and that memory has stayed with the Kiefer family ever since. ⛳💙

Thank you to our sponsors, supporters, volunteers, and everyone who continues to stand beside us in this mission. Your support helps us continue creating awareness, advancing technology, and educating others about the dangers of distracted driving.

Every conversation matters.
Every choice matters.
Every life counts.

Mitchel was a brother, a son, and someone deeply loved, standing here with so much ahead of him — and that’s exactly why this work matters.

Another driver`s distracted decision behind the wheel changed everything. His life was taken in an instant, and his family’s was forever changed.

We share Mitchel’s story to raise awareness, change behavior, and help prevent other families from experiencing the same heartbreak — because this is preventable.

Choose to stay focused behind the wheel and Just Drive.
